NASPAA Initiatives        

• Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society is the honor society recognizing outstanding undergraduate as well as graduate students in public affairs. Currently, there are PAA chapters at 162 NASPAA member schools.
   
• The Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE) is the peer-reviewed quarterly journal for public affairs education. NASPAA members receive an e-copy of each issue, and other interested readers are encouraged to subscribe.
   
• NASPAA's Global Outreach efforts are currently focused on formalizing relations with counterpart international associations, in a common effort to improve graduate programs in public affairs worldwide.
   
• Accreditation: NASPAA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accreditor of master's programs in public administration, policy, and public affairs.  NASPAA is currently working with its counterpart associations globally to support joint accreditation.
   
• Data Center: NASPAA is the source for data on public service education. For a list of published surveys, see the almanac.
   
• Awards: NASPAA offers annual (or biennial) awards for programs, faculty, and students.
   
• Archives: A repository of previous NASPAA initiatives.
