2024-25 COPRA Chair, Dr. Angela Eikenberry
We are excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Angela Eikenberry as Chair of the Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA) for the 2024-2025 term. Dr. Eikenberry, who has been a valued member of the Commission since 2021, brings extensive expertise and experience in advancing public service programs. We are thrilled that she has accepted this role and look forward to her continued contributions to the public service education community.

Angela M. Eikenberry is Professor and Director of the School of Public Policy at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on the social, economic, and political roles of philanthropy and nonprofit/voluntary organizations in democratic governance. She is recipient of CASE’s John Grenzebach Research Award for Outstanding Research in Philanthropy. She also received a Fulbright Scholar Award to conduct research in the UK, the University of Nebraska at Omaha Awards for Distinguished Research or Creative Activity and Outstanding Graduate Mentor, and the 2023 NVSQ Best Paper Award. She is past President of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) and a fellow in the National Academy of Public Administration. She previously served a three-year term on COPRA.
