NASPAA Welcomes new Member Montreat College!

Montreat College is an independent, Christ-centered, liberal arts institution that educates students through intellectual inquiry, spiritual formation, and preparation for calling and career. It is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. For over 25 years, Montreat College’s School of Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS) has been helping adult students acquire essential skills, complete their degrees, and take their career to the next level.

Montreat offers undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs in a classroom or online. For example, Montreat offers a Bachelors in Public Administration as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. Each of these degrees are offered completely online. Our MPA degree can be achieved after completing only 10 courses. Each course in the program lasts only 8 weeks. Coursework is rigorous and thorough while also being efficient for our student’s busy schedules.

As we grow our Public Administration programs, Montreat decided to become a member of NASPAA. NASPAA is touted as the global standard in public service education. Their goals are to provide the best prepared students to enter public service, the best faculty to teach, and to further research in the field of Public Administration. Montreat College also wants to foster and encourage these goals through our students and faculty in Public Administration. Our membership with NASPAA aids in our quest to become one of the nation’s premier Public Administration degree programs.
