New Accreditation Standards Videos Released

We would like to highlight the release of the updated NASPAA Accreditation Videos. You will find a video for each of the seven NASPAA Standards, as well as one outlining the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) plan. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank and recognize former COPRA member, Judy Millesen, College of Charleston (ret.) for her contributions and involvement in recording these videos.

The videos were updated to reflect the most recent review of the NASPAA Accreditation Standards, which establishes nonprofit management as fundamental to public service education; strengthens NASPAA’s goal to support public service worldwide; emphasizes the role diversity, equity, and inclusion must play in public service education; and ensures the universal required competencies are adaptable to the rapidly changing needs and environments of the field, be they technological, geographic, or otherwise.

Please note that the expectations from the Commission remain unchanged. Therefore, programs currently preparing for accreditation review that have been referencing the previous videos should not be concerned by the release of the updated videos. The update to the videos is simply part of our efforts to better equip programs to meet those expectations. Updates were determined using feedback we have received from programs, as well as using trends resulting from accreditation review.
