University of Macau

UM

The University of Macau is a comprehensive research-oriented public university of international standing, dedicated to producing creative and socially responsible graduates with a global mindset and international competitiveness. Housed in the Department of Government and Public Administration within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Master of Social Sciences in Public Administration (MSS-PAD) is an advanced study program designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary for careers in the civil service and other public organizations in the Macau Special Administrative Region, mainland China, and other regions. The MSS-PAD provides a solid foundation for individuals aspiring to advance their careers as public policy and management professionals. We are excited to become a member of the NASPAA - a global association of prestigious institutions offering programs in public administration, public policy, public affairs, and related public service degrees. This milestone marks a significant step towards establishing our department as a recognized academic unit in public administration and policy within the greater China region.

Stockholm School of Economics - House of Governance and Public Policy (GaPP)

Stockholm

Founded in 1909, SSE has a longstanding tradition of excellence in economics, business, and finance education. Driven by our commitment to societal impact and guided by the principles of international collaboration, we are now embarking on a strategic initiative to expand our academic offerings in public policy. Joining NASPAA’s international community aligns closely with our vision. We are keen to draw on NASPAA’s global network, ethical standards, and shared knowledge base to shape an MPP program that meets the highest benchmarks of academic quality and responsibility. Furthermore, our participation in NASPAA events, workshops, and conferences will allow us to both learn from and contribute to this robust community of educators and professionals. Our faculty and students will benefit immensely from exposure to innovative teaching methodologies, best practices in curriculum design, and a broader understanding of global public affairs trends.
